Changed overnight traffic conditions on Gold Coast Highway at Tweed Heads

Motorists are advised of changed overnight traffic conditions this week on the Gold Coast Highway at Tweed Heads to carry out maintenance work.

The on ramp from the Gold Coast Highway interchange will be closed to carry out street lighting improvements, providing safer conditions for motorists, with an alternative route available via Kennedy Drive.

To minimise impacts to motorists, work will be carried out overnight from 8pm on Thursday 1 July and is expected to be complete by 5am on Friday 2 July, weather permitting.

Traffic control and a reduced speed limit will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.

Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time, drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.

Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
