  THE wide-ranging talents, tireless efforts, commitment and dedication of the Clarence Valley were on display as the achievements of our local heroes were acknowledged at the Clarence Valley Australia Day Awards ceremony. Clarence Valley Mayor, Richie Williamson, said he was amazed each year at the standard of the valley’s Australia Day nominations. “This was reflected in the community achievement category, with two winners taking out the award,” he said. “I don’t know how we keep coming up with more outstanding people each year. “It makes me proud to know these people live in our community and contribute to making the Clarence Valley this great place to live.” For more information on the recipients of the Australia Day awards Read More
