Clarence Coast Magpies Junior Rugby League would like to share their excitement of having fourteams taking the field in this Saturdays Group 1 grand final being played in Casino: U10’s Magpies vKyogle; U11’s Magpies v Grafton (last season’s U10’s Major Premiers); U13’s Magpies v Kyogle (last season’s U12’s Major Premiers); U14’s Magpies v Ballina. The club has had a very successful season, with six teams making it through to the finals. Despite playing strongly in last weekend matches, our U15’s and U16.5’s did not make it through to the grandfinal. We are very fortunate to have great volunteer coaches who have put so much time in training all the teams and encouraging the kids to play to their full intentional. The growth in all the player’s skills, their sportsmanship and their confidence is really noticeable and they have done us proud. Last year we had three teams make the grand  final, with three teams walking away as Major Premiers, this season we are hoping our mighty Magpies can go one better and make it four from four.   Kerry Lee
