Cancellation of the Clarence River Arts, Crafts and Quilt Exhibition

The Lower Clarence Art and Crafts Association (LCACA) has made the difficult decision to cancel the Clarence River Arts, Crafts and Quilt Exhibition for the second year running.

The 54th exhibition was to be held on Friday 2nd October to Sunday 4th October, 2020 at the Maclean Showground.

Last year’s event was cancelled due to lack of a venue following the storm damage to the showground pavilion. This year lack of a venue, due to delays in building the new pavilion, along with the coronavirus outbreak, have prompted the decision to cancel. Even though the exhibition is a number of months away, no one knows what is down the track.

The LCACA is aware the coronavirus is easily transmitted through close contact and in large gatherings, therefore the committee has reluctantly decided to cancel the Exhibition before more planning work progresses.

The LCACA proposes to reschedule the Exhibition in 2021 as circumstances allow.

The LCACA is saddened to cancel this year’s exhibition and we extend our best wishes to our members and the community in these uncertain times. Web: www.ferrypark.net
