The Brooms Head 3Bs annual fun run, which raises funds for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service, was contested on Sunday.
Coordinator Ken Crampton, from Maclean Lions Club, said the weather was ideal for the event, considering the cold and rain experienced in the days leading up to the event.
He said 110 people participated, eight of whom competed in the mountain bike competition.
Over $1600 was raised and Lion Laurie Fitzpatrick, who raised $470, was the highest fundraiser.
Matt Baker won the 10k run and Erin Ferguson won the women’s 10k run.
