A water skier is in a critical condition after taking a tumble just before the finishing line at Grafton, in Sunday’s Bridge to Bridge water ski race. Onlookers dived into the water to help the 27 – year old Gold Coast man and assist him into the rescue boat. Spectators watching the ski race, from Memorial Park, stood silently as the paramedics attended to the injured man, before he was taken to Grafton Base Hospital.
