We played a Stableford event on the front nine holes on Friday again, instead of the usual Tuesday slot due to the Ladies Tournament being held at the course.

Two new players joined us and they didn’t leave empty-handed. Charlie Allen (h/cp 33) won the event plus NTP on the 2nd hole taking the party pack of chocolates and the Tartan Pizza prizes. What a welcome he had. Second place went to his buddy and fellow “newbie” Eric MacDonald (h/cp 36) only 2 points behind scoring 14, he was very happy to take home the shortbread biscuits.

Evergreen Graham Cox (h/cp 24) was thrilled they left him the choice prize bottle of red wine scoring just 13 this time. He also nabbed the NTP on the 7th claiming the Sassafras meal voucher.

Other notorious big-hitting players were awarded Sassafras meal voucher (Geoff Dickie) and the Yamba Cinema pass (Gary Taylor).

Gary & Colleen Stockwell donated a large bag of passionfruit which everybody shared…thanks guys, you’re legends.
