Blue Knob MVA

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by New South Wales Ambulance just after 6pm last Sunday afternoon to a report of a serious single MVA with the driver seriously injured and CPR was in progress at Blue Knob north of Nimbin.  

NSW Ambulance Paramedics and the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team treated and stabilised the 48yo male driver who was ejected from his vehicle, for serious head pelvic injuries and multiple fractures. The gentleman was placed in an induced coma on life support prior to him being airlifted to Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition for further treatment.
