Black tie Westpac Rescue Helicopter dinner
Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service are delighted to be able host their Rescue Dinner at Pacific Bay Resort on Saturday 13 March 2021.
With a challenging year through COVID, fundraising events for the Service have been decimated with a cancellation of all events from March to October this year.
The Rescue Helicopter Service continues to be on standby to respond to the community 24/7 and early in 2020 reached a 10,000-mission milestone. The Lismore service responds to over 400 taskings per year for the Northern NSW Region. However, the Coffs Coast is in the heartland of the Rescue Helicopter’s flight zone and is regularly serviced by its Tamworth and Newcastle based helicopters as well.
There has been a hiatus of a decade since the last Rescue Dinner and the Service is focussed on returning the event to the Coffs Coast region on Saturday 13th March 2021. Entertainment will include Lisa Hunt’s Forever Soul and the event will be emceed by the gorgeous and talented Rachel Beck. Be tempted by canapes on arrival and a two-course dinner with a generous drink package.
Fundraising will include a Galabid Auction opening a week before the event and closing on the Rescue Dinner evening. You do not have to attend the event to bid on these prizes. Dress will be black tie with a splash of red or yellow to recognise the Rescue Helicopter’s colours.
Tickets are $150 per person or $1,750 for a sponsored table of 10 which will also include VIP seating, your company logo on the table, logo projection and recognition on the night plus a special gift.
Tickets went on sale on Monday (November 2), be quick as seats are limited. Tickets available by contacting: Jennifer Dowd – Community Liaison Officer on 0438 649 300 or email: Jennifer.dowd@rescuehelicopter.com.au
