Benefit concert to help Ewingar rise from the ashes

The small community of Ewingar has been devastated by bushfires during the past couple of months. During these fires 10 houses were lost as well as two lives. These bushfires affected just about every resident in the town of Ewingar with residents losing sheds, fodder, animals, tools, water infrastructure and fencing.

A bushfire benefit concert is being held to assist the fire devested community to recover, rebuild and rise from the ashes. This concert will be held from Friday November 22 – Sunday November 24.

There will be something for everyone over the weekend including a kids corner with jumping castle, puppet show and art workshop, food and coffee vans will be available all weekend, licensed bar (no BYO), local markets, chill out tents as well as raffles and prizes. A camping area is available all weekend for full weekend ticket holders (limited spaces).

Many acts have already been announced for this concert including; Tex Perkins & Matt Walker, Col Finley, Marshell Okell, August River Band, Mermaid Avenue, Two Tears in a Bucket, Watling & Bates, Haystack Mountain Hermits, Jase Lansky, Georgia Grae, Jimmy Willing & the Real Gone Hick-Ups plus many more.

Tickets are on sale now and must be purchased in advance and are limited, so you need to get in quick if you wish to attend this fundraising event.

This event is volunteer-run with all proceeds to be distributed to those who need it most in the community to recover, rebuild and rise from the ashes. This event will be held Ewingar Hall, 584 Ewingar Road, Ewingar.
