The Maclean Rotary Club are all geared up for their upcoming book sale to be held this Friday and Saturday, at the Maclean Bowling Club.

Karen Cooper from Maclean Rotary Club said that there are books of every description on offer for just $8 a bag.

“We encourage people to bring their own shopping bags to fill up with books as we no longer use plastic bags,” Karen said.

“Dick Richards (one of our members) who sorts all our books said that there are heaps of books on ‘do it yourself’ and ‘hobbies’ as well as ‘children’s’ books.

“The children’s books are free to any kid’s that are there with their parents, grandparents or an adult.

“The money raised from the book sale will go to local Rotary community projects.

“This year we are trialling only three book sales during the year, instead of four; so, don’t miss out.

“Bring your bags and a smiling face and we’ll be there to greet you,” she said.
