Back on the greens for Yamba ladies

At last, after a long break, 18 bowlers turned up to break the ice for 2021.

For some of us the time away took its toll and for other lucky ones (and of course those who participated in the Thursday mixed competition and kept their practise up) it was a piece of cake.

However lovely to hear the sounds of ladies enjoying the conditions and catching up with bowling mates again. Here’s hoping 2021 doesn’t throw us a curved ball again and we continue to enjoy our Tuesdays and Thursdays uninterrupted.

Welcome to new bowler Audrey Reynolds and also to old-hand Gail Cupples (recently moved to Yamba) and a very welcome new member for us. Audrey is already showing a lot of promise and of course we all know Gail’s record of great bowls.
