Australia’s greatest ford set to break records

An award winning and arguably Australia’s best Ford Falcon GTHO Phase III is heading to auction at the end of this month set to attract the attention of Australians from across the Nation.

“This particular GTHO Phase III Falcon is not only award-winning, but it is super rare coming in the special order colour, 1 of only 12 in Yellow Glo,” said Mr. Lee Hames Chief Operations Officer for Lloyds Auctions.

With the vehicle accepting online bids for nearly two weeks now on the Lloyds Auctions website the bidding has already reached $750,000 with a week until auction day.

“We expect this car to break Australian Classic Car records indefinitely, its current bid is in the high 6 figures, and we expect it to reach anywhere between 1 and 1.5 million dollars come auction day,” Mr.  Hames continued.

“The Ford Falcon GTHO Phase II receives so much attention because it is the pinnacle of Australian muscle cars and has consistently held its value over its lifespan since its release in 1971, so they attract bidders including enthusiasts, collectors as well as investors,”

Not only is there the opportunity for bidders to purchase this rare Phase III in Yellow Glo but they also can purchase the ‘digital verified NFT’ art model of the exact same vehicle that come with some enticing benefits.

“This is a very special vehicle, and we probably won’t see it come through auction again for quite some time,” said Lee Hames, Chief Operating Officer for Lloyds Auctions.

It is going to be a massive month of auctions, also on offer is a world first blockchain Ford Falcon GTHO Phase III auction, as well as the vehicles from Hollywood film, Mad Max – Fury Road and a rare Holden HSV 1 of 1 build collection.
