Hat trick of wins for North Coast Football teams in Australia Cup
IT was a successful weekend for North Coast Football sides with the remaining three clubs progressing to the next round of the Australia Cup.
The Coffs Coast Tigers, Northern Storm, and Woolgoolga United all had wins during the third round of the annual national knockout competition.
The Tigers progressed to the fourth round in dominant fashion with a 12-0 victory at home against Hillvue Rovers FC at Polwarth Drive.
Woolgoolga United also had a dominant win at home accounting for Lake Cathie 6-0 at the High Street Fields.
Northern Storm got the job done on the road with a 2-1 victory against South Armidale United.
Two North Coast Football sides are set to face off in the fourth round, with the Northern Storm and Woolgoolga United playing off in a tantalising fixture between two clubs who have won their past two Australia Cup matches.
Coffs Coast Tigers take on Northern Inland Premier League champions Oxley Vale Attunga at home in their fourth-round fixture.
