Iluka-Woombah Rotary Club manages the Iluka Markets each month and every month (from money raised) the Club donates $500 to a local organisation. Recently they have given money to the Woombah Fire Brigade, Meals on Wheels, and local Lifesavers to maintain equipment. This month (August), president John Ludewig presented a cheque for $500 to the Iluka Fire Service and they were on hand at the Markets, complete with fire engine, to receive it, much to the delight of the youngsters.
