Ann Schuhmacher and Lyn Saggers take Wednesday 2BBB Stableford multiplier

Friendships are still intact after last Wednesday’s partner game, the 2BBB Stableford multiplier event.

Some great scores (and some not so great) were posted with many of the partnerships ruing missed opportunities through one of the partners scoring a ‘wipe’ at a crucial time. This didn’t seem to bother the winning combination of Ann Schuhmacher and Lyn Saggers who won with 87pts. Their closest rivals, Deirdre Gough and Joy Williams, scored 77pts, followed by Jean Whitby and Lyn White on 70pts.

NTPs were awarded to: (Yamba Medical Centre 3rd) Jane Bonner; (Yamba Florist, Debbie May 2nd on 3rd) Trish McDermid; (Leonie May Millinery 2nd on 9th) Ann Groom; (Yamba Fair Butchery 10th) Julie Grant; (The Shoe Boutique 12th) Gail Gore-Brown; (Clovelly Fashions 17th) Leigh Robertson and (The Block 2nd on 17th) Sandra Russo. Balls were awarded to 60pts c/b. In Wednesday’s nine-hole competition, Susie Quilty won with 21pts in a field of 12 ahead of Annie Green. Trish White won the NTP.

We could not have had more perfect conditions for last Friday’s single Stableford round.

Div 1 player, Val Pate featured with a great score of 41pts to win. Leigh Robertson followed as Div 1 r/up with 37pts.

Div 2 was won by Sandra Russo (34pts c/b) ahead of Jen O’Neill (34pts). Div 3 was won by Robyn Causley (37pts) with Prue Leggoe coming in r/up (34pts).

NTP winners were: (Flots and Jets 3rd) Gail Scobie; (Valley Finance 2nd on 9th) Julie Vernol; (Peter Campbell Physio 2nd on 9th) Val Pate; (Kitchen To Table 10th) Lynne Eke; (Melt Massage & Beauty 12th) Lynne Eke; (Yamba Ladies 17th) Leigh Robertson and (Yamba Pharmacy 2nd on 17th) Jane Anderson. Balls were awarded to 33pts c/b.

Access to the course for Saturday’s competition was denied because of the Yamba Pro-Am.

Our AGM will be held at 9.30am on Wednesday November 11. Social play will follow for those who wish to participate.
