Alleged break and enter in Copmanhurst

Officers attached to the Coffs/Clarence Police District have commenced an investigation after a popular venue in the Clarence Valley was broken into last week.

The alleged incident occurred shortly before 2am on Thursday, February 13, when a number of individuals unlawfully entered the Rest Point Hotel in Grafton Street, Copmanhurst.

They allegedly stole a safe which contained an undisclosed amount of cash along with several charity tins and some petty cash from the premises.

The locally owned and managed business was forced to close for several hours while police attended the scene.
