Lifeline North Coast is presenting the workshop named The Accidental Counsellor Foundations in Grafton on Monday May 6. This is a workshop for anyone in the community who, in everyday life, finds themselves in a situation of supporting another. It does not make attendees into formalised counsellors but it expands on a person’s abilities to listen and respond. After all how much better is it if we can listen and engage in a supportive and empathic way so that much of the further distress is avoided?
