A successful Art and Craft Exhibition

The 54th Annual LCACA Arts and Crafts Exhibition was an outstanding success with over 150 entries and $7700 in prizemoney. Newly elected Mayor, and LCACA Patron Dr Ian Tiley acted as MC for the Saturday morning presentations. Five new and re-elected council members also attended the breakfast awards.

Naomi Sands, Grafton Regional Gallery Director was also present and chose Margot Grant’s “Heathland Blue”, a mixed media painting, as the 2022 Acquisition Piece for Clarence Valley Council.

The two-day event saw a steady stream of visitors enjoying the well curated art works hanging in the recently rebuilt showground pavilion, a lovely area of light and space overlooking the river.
