A lot of the new candidates presented well

A continuous line of Clarence Valley residents entered and exited the Christ Church Cathedral Offices in Duke Street, Grafton on Saturday to put pen to paper and cast their votes in the 2021 NSW Local Government elections.

Two gentlemen, who did not wish to have their names published, were happy to confirm they voted for two first time candidates.

“Council need new blood and revitilisation, the community needs stronger leadership, and we ardently believe the two candidates we gave our preferences to, will make a substantial difference if they get elected, and by crikey we hope they do.

“A lot of the new candidates presented well, but there were two in particular who strongly stood out, and I think that will reflect in the polls.”
