Ed, I would like to publicly acknowledge the great work of your skillful wordsmith musician Geoff Helisma. I have just finished reading some more of his articles in the NC Seniors and The Independent. His journalist talents are second to none. Always interesting, informant, even-handed, independent and his to the point assessments of the local issues affecting the community are timely and welcomed.
