‘A Little Bit of Culture’

cvi   What a wonderful outing nineteen members of ‘A Little Bit of Culture’ had when they travelled to QPAC in Brisbane for the matinee performance of Sound of Music on Saturday April 23. It wasn’t just the hills alive with the Sound of Music, we all were! It was a wonderful production, and a great performance by the whole cast. Many had goose-bumps and tears of joy when Jacqueline Dark sang Climb Ev’ry Mountain. Her voice was truly magnificent. We travelled up by Wards Coach and once again Dianne (Ward) made our trip a very enjoyable one by providing a delicious morning tea at Brunswick Heads, lucky ticket raffle prizes then spoilt us with a bag of yummy chocolates each. There are still a few seats available for the Friday June 17 performance of ‘Celtic Illusion’ at the Saraton Theatre, Grafton. If you enjoy all things Celtic then this is a show not to be missed. Tickets are $54.90 (payable first week of June). A table has been reserved for dinner at the Clocktower Hotel prior to the show (at your cost). Please contact me if you, your family or friends, would like to join us for what is sure to be a wonderful night. If you would like to join ‘A Little Bit of Culture’ members on any of our outings or join us each Tuesday for the very popular movie/lunch days, please give Patricia a call on 0419 749 232 or email apkan1@gmail.com Patricia Kan
