$25,000 rebates for water conscious Clarence and Richmond Valley farmers

Clarence and Richmond Valley landholders will once again have access to $25,000 rebates when they invest in water saving infrastructure on their properties, Clarence Nationals MP Chris Gulaptis has announced.

“The NSW Government are reopening the $15 million Emergency Water Infrastructure Rebate (EWIR) Scheme,” Mr Gulaptis said.

“The Scheme was very popular with local landholders who want to drought proof or at least drought ready their farms.”

The EWIR Scheme provides eligible primary producers access to a 25 per cent rebate, up to $25,000, on new purchases and installation costs of new water infrastructure. 

It is expected the program will be open to applications in July 2021. The timing depends on the participation of the Commonwealth Government.  Further information and the opportunity to register an Expression of Interest can be found by going online at:
