2024 Clarence Valley Sports Awards Guest Speaker unveiled

The Clarence Valley Sports Awards Committee is thrilled to announce the guest speaker at the upcoming 2024 Clarence Valley Sports Awards will be former Matildas star and local business owner Jo Powell of Jetts Fitness in Grafton.

Born and raised in Grafton, Jo has become an iconic local legend and a passionate advocate for empowering individuals, in particular young women, to work hard and achieve their dreams while staying true to themselves.

Recently, Jo was celebrated as the Guest of Honour during the 2024 Grafton Jacaranda Festival, a role she described as amazing and inspirational.

Guests at the 2024 Clarence Valley Sports Awards will hear Jo’s incredible story which began as a five-year-old girl who wanted to play soccer like her older brother Chris and developed into one of the most motivational sporting careers in Australia.

The 2024 Clarence Valley Sports Awards will be held at the South Grafton Ex-Servicemen’s Club on Saturday, February 15.

The event starts from 6:30pm.
