2022 Federal Election date confirmed

Australians will head to the polls on Saturday, May 21, to cast their ballots in the 2022 Federal Election and decide who will lead the nation for the next three years.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison made the announcement on April 10, setting up an intense six-week campaign between his Liberal-National Coalition and the Australian Labor Party (ALP), led by Anthony Albanese.

The Coalition will be looking to secure its fourth term in office while the ALP will be seeking a return to Government for the first time since 2013.

The Prime Minister will be hoping to replicate his come-from-behind victory following his narrow success in the 2019 Federal Election.
